NPI Privacy
NPI takes privacy seriously. Because we value our
customer relationships, we do not sell customer information or share it
with organizations outside of Network Partners Inc. We have physical,
electronic, and organizational safeguards in place to protect customer
information. We continually review our policies and practices,
monitor our computer networks, and test the strength of our security in
order to help us ensure the safety of customer information.
Our Privacy Principles:
- We do not sell customer information.
- We do not provide customer information to persons or organizations
outside Network Partners Inc who are doing business on our behalf, for
their own marketing purposes unless you specifically authorize us to do
so.
- We contractually require any person or organization providing
products or services to customers on our behalf to protect the
confidentiality of NPI customer information.
- Should an engagement require NPI to trace and capture data packets
that could include our client's customer medical information or any
other customer data, we will not share that information with any
organization or individual outside NPI.
NPI may disclose nonpublic personal information:
- as reasonably necessary to its auditors, accountants, and counsel,
who are under an obligation to maintain the confidentiality of the
nonpublic information, and
- to respond to government regulatory authorities having
jurisdiction over NPI for examination, compliance, or other purposes
as authorized or required by law, including the Secretary of the
Department of Health and Human Services. However, any such
disclosure may be made only after giving our customer prior notice of
the potential disclosure.
- to comply with a properly authorized civil, criminal or regulatory
investigation or subpoena or summons issued by a Federal, State, or
local authority, and respond to judicial process. However, any
such disclosure may be made only after giving NPI's customer prior
notice of the potential disclosure and a reasonable opportunity to
intervene to apply for such legal protection as may be available with
respect to the confidentiality of our customer's nonpublic
information. If a protective order or other remedy is not
obtained, or our customer waives compliance, NPI agrees to disclose
only that portion of the customer's nonpublic information that is
advised by written opinion of counsel that is legally required.
In addition, NPI will sign Nondisclosure and
Confidentiality Agreements with clients that may have regulatory requirements from
various agencies, and/or other special needs.
